about

What you hear in this album is all first time recordings, no second takes just all stream of consciousness. Improvised electronic music recorded over a period of 3 days by my friend @asbearr and myself in my room in an apartment in Oslo St. Hanshaugen.

3 years ago this album was released on Spotify. Cinematic and immersive, wild and fucked up. DIY. Some words to tag the album. Later, after begging him to join us on drums my brother Gabriel Westby did and he did it well (af) even he hadn’t touched a drum machine before. After a couple of nights jamming and finding the frequency of 1416 (the name of the band) we played live at Volum Festivalen in Norway, Elverum and as it is now, that was one of the only successfull live show we did. It was fun. It was good times. Thanks to IG: @dj.gbbn, @asbearr and @thea_torgersen for photographing the cover art and to the rest of the humans that surrounded us at those times with their mind and hearts.
